Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Planned Parenthood Taints The Price is Right
May 20, 2020
Planned Parenthood’s aggressive “offense” has drawn another unsportsmanlike conduct call!
As they’ve done with the Packers, they have once again infiltrated another iconic piece of Americana: The Price is Right!
The longest-running game show has been cherished staple for generations of TV fans who have “come on down” in their living rooms.
The show’s recent prime-time special added insult to injury when its “extra special guest,” RuPaul, an infamous drag queen, announced he was raising money for “Planned Parenthood, which provides vital and often free services to both men and women.” Show host Drew Carey explained, “…whatever you win and the rest of the contestants win, we’re going to match.”
When all was said and done, that meant a donation of nearly $100,000 to the nation’s largest abortion provider. The same organization that receives more than $500 million in taxpayer dollars each year and is responsible for aborting a baby every 97 seconds in the United States.
One long-time viewer summed it up best when he tweeted:
It’s important to realize that it is not mere coincidence that Planned Parenthood has attached itself to these two cherished icons.
There are two plans at play in these parasitical partnerships.
First, it is the hallmark of evil to attempt to corrupt the good, the true and the beautiful. Planned Parenthood is expert in this type of exploitation.
Second, this is another attempt to normalize the Planned Parenthood brand through a technique known as transference.
Transference is when a brand or product is purposefully associated with another brand or celebrity to improve its image with a target audience.
For example, Nike hired Michael Jordan and named a shoe after him. They understood if their target audience believed that Michael Jordan thought Nike was cool, then they would think it was cool, too, and purchase the brand.
Planned Parenthood put together this televised travesty in an attempt to gather support among key demographics with which it feels it is losing ground—and to potentially increase financial support from those demographics.
This is why it is so important that we put an end to their attempts to court support from the Green Bay Packers.
This is their trial run. Their toe in the pool.
If they can receive a grant and unwavering support from what is arguably the most family-friendly, all-American NFL franchise, then it’s only a short matter of time before they are duplicating those efforts throughout the entire league.
It is imperative that we stop Planned Parenthood’s attempt to co-opt the Packers! If we fail to do so, it is practically inevitable that they will become a league-wide mainstay.
Will you help us draw a line in the sand and prevent Planned Parenthood from permanently poisoning the Green Bay Packers and the NFL and Restore Packer Pride?
