“You See Little Angel” Offers Message of Hope

Ken Weber is a lifelong musician, drummer/singer, who started playing professionally in the 1980s.  He started out in rock and roll bands, eventually transitioning to country and variety bands.

During the 80s and 90s Ken’s country band, Jeanne Tooley and Nightshade, had a particularly successful run in local and state country competitions. It was during these years that Ken’s song writing began earnest. It seemed as though something was ignited and the lyrics just began to flow.

One of Ken’s songs was destined to sit quietly, waiting for the right moment to be recorded. When was that moment? As it turns out, 30 years after it was written.

Ken credits time spent in his local Adoration Chapel for giving him the final nudge to bring the song to life.

“You See Little Angel” is an introspective song dealing with the dark side of relationships. Where the unborn suffer the consequences of shortsighted decisions made by couples in turmoil.

The overriding message of the song is one of hope,” says Ken, “that these “Little Angels” have a benefactor—the Creator—who is always watching over them, gently encouraging them to stay strong despite their circumstances.

The song leaves listeners with a heartfelt message: Never give up hope—and may humanity recognize the error of its ways before it’s too late.
