Pro-life March Returns to LA for 11th Consecutive Year
November 16, 2024
CV NEWS FEED // Pro-life march and festival OneLife LA is returning to Los Angeles for the 11th consecutive year on January 18, 2025.
A press release from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles states that the theme for 2025 is “Let Us Stand Up Together,” and that the event “aims to promote a culture of life, uniting communities, and inspiring positive action.”
The march will begin in La Placita, which the press release describes as the birthplace of the city, and the event will include speakers and live music.
“OneLife is a vision for a new way of living, a culture of life, a society where every life is sacred, and every life is cared for. As we know, we face many big ‘issues’ in our society,” Archbishop Jose Gomez wrote. “But behind every one of these ‘issues’ are real people, with their own stories, their own dreams, their own struggles. Every one of them is a child of God, and every one of them is our brother or our sister. Every human life is precious to God!”
OneLife LA partners with local charities and organizations in order to encourage attendees to help the vulnerable in their own communities. They are encouraged to sign up for service projects that include feeding the homeless, visiting the elderly, supporting expectant mothers, and finding families for foster care children.
After the march, Archbishop Gomez will offer a “Requiem for the Unborn” at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
