Restore Packer Pride Rally Scheduled for Sunday, November 15 at 11 a.m. on Sidewalk in Front of Lambeau Field

GREEN BAY, WI—Restore Packer Pride, a program of Verum Vitae, 365, Inc., announced plans today to hold a rally outside of Lambeau Field as part of their on-going effort to hold the Green Bay Packers and their foundation accountable for donating money to Planned Parenthood.

“The Green Bay Packers have long been recognized as the most family friendly franchise in the NFL, but this has severely marred that reputation and their unwillingness to take three simple steps to make this right has only served to deepen that wound,” said Jim Ball, executive director of Verum Vitae 365, Inc. and its programs. “As a lifelong Packers fan, I’m dumbfounded by the franchise’s recent actions. Giving money to the nation’s largest abortion provider is bad enough, but this is also an organization that recently admitted their founder was a virulent racist and eugenicist who used the group to hurt ‘communities of color.’”

Ball added, “You can debate the merits of Green Bay’s newfound support of the organization Black Lives Matter, but that same team financially supporting an organization that has killed more black children than any other is U.S. history makes that advocacy appear hollow at best.”

Launched this past February, Restore Packer Pride gives voice to the countless Packers fans heartbroken by the Pack’s “unforced error” that unnecessarily besmirches all that the organization has stood for these past 100 years.

To make things right, Restore Packer Pride is asking the Green Bay Packers to:

1)     PROMISE to never again support Planned Parenthood or its ilk

2)     PLEDGE to support a pro-life, pro-family group instead

3)     PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE to fans for supporting this terrible organization

Ball acknowledged that the Packers recently fulfilled the second of the three requests in their recent grants.  “Supporting several pro-life groups is a good start, but in the end, it’s one down and two to go. If the Packers want to heal the rift they’ve created with their fans, they need to fulfill all three requests.”
