Encroachment: Planned Parenthood Sets Sights on Southern WI; Co-Opts Another Game Show
June 3, 2020
Planned Parenthood cheats. In fact, their playbook makes “Deflategate” look like fair play.
Indeed, they’ve racked up quite a few penalties over the past few months, and this week is no different. This time we’re tossing the yellow flag over blatant encroachment!
They have demonstrated time and again that they will go to any length to maintain their abortion business model, no matter the harm it might bring others or their communities.
The hard work, peaceful witness and prayers of countless Wisconsinites—particularly 40 Days for Life vigil participants—has led to several pro-life victories in our state, including the closure of all but four abortion clinics.
But, Planned Parenthood refuses to hear the clear message being sent.
Instead, they are doubling down.
Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPI) recently announced the opening of their new “health” center in Waukegan, IL (Lake County). Jennifer Welch, president and CEO of PPI, told the Chicago Tribune that their new location, just a few miles from the Wisconsin border, was chosen quite carefully: “The proximity to Wisconsin—a state that poses stringent legal barriers to abortion—was a critical factor in choosing the location.”
In addition to targeting the minority population of Lake County (the city of Waukegan population is 43 percent minority), Planned Parenthood specifically chose a location that would make it easier to lure pregnant Wisconsin women to the much more abortion-friendly Illinois.
Planned Parenthood is clearly encroaching on Wisconsin’s pro-life ethic—just like they’re attempting to encroach on the NFL by trying to establish a foothold in the Green Bay Packers organization.
As saying goes, “the best defense is a good offense.” So, we launched Restore Packer Pride to put points on the board for truth.
Further proof that Planned Parenthood wants to use our beloved Packers as a springboard to the entire NFL can be found in this week’s entertainment headlines.
We recently shared how Planned Parenthood co-opted The Price is Right to the tune of nearly $100,000. Now comes the news that tonight’s season finale of Who Wants to be a Millionaire is the next stop for the nation’s largest abortion provider. The episode will feature CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Bravo’s Andy Cohen teaming up to raise money for Spikes K9 Fund and Planned Parenthood, respectively.
It is neither coincidence nor by accident that this is happening…again. If we peak into Planned Parenthood’s playbook, step one is to test the concept (The Price is Right) and measure the response. If they get away with it, then go to step two: Do it again, but bigger.
There was little to no organized response to RuPaul’s garish appearance on The Price is Right. Now Andy Cohen is attempting to take it to the next level for even higher stakes…literally $1 million!
Not that they really need the money; after all, they receive more than half a billion taxpayer dollars every year.
This is all about removing the rightful stigma attached to Planned Parenthood and normalizing the inconceivable: the murder of thousands of innocent unborn children every day in the United States.
The time is now. If we fail to stand against Planned Parenthood’s attempt to co-opt the Green Bay Packers, then another cherished family-friendly institution will be lost.
But even worse, our culture will be further poisoned by the blatant disregard for the inherent dignity of the most vulnerable among us.
Together, we can rid Northeast Wisconsin of Planned Parenthood and thereby Restore Packer Pride!
